This lesson was fun and students loved it. They especially enjoyed the story, and the spinner activity. I enjoyed the story because I learned something new right before doing the lesson myself. I learned that some tree frogs lay their eggs in trees inside of a foam type of covering above bodies of water, so that once the tadpoles hatch they drop from the foam into the water.  I just assumed they all had to be laid in water.
Areas of improvement: I felt overall the lesson went really well, I think that in future classes with this lesson I would cut out the spinners prior to the lesson for shorter time crunches. I would have also liked to have done a little more with the topic as well. But time only allowed me 35 minutes, and the class was very curious about many things, they asked lots of questions and seemed to really enjoy the topic. They also thought the frogs were cute.
Assessment: The students met the objective two-fold. We not only discussed after the story and they answered leading questions, but we also watched a video that discussed them too. Then they made their spinners and tested them out to see the stages of the life cycle. Finally they proved they understood the concept by completing the Kahoot quiz about the life cycle of a frog.
