         <description><![CDATA[<div>Syphilis introduced to Old World by Europeans traveling back from OldWorld<br>                - Syphilis symptoms: genital ulcers, tumors, rashes, and eventual death. </div><ul><li>Numerous species from the Americas introduced to Europe formed feral populations and displaced native species. </li></ul><div>                - Examples include: Raccoons in Germany, and American Grey Squirrels in Britain </div><ul><li>New diseases such as <strong>Chagas</strong> disease, <strong>Pinta</strong>, and <strong>Bejel</strong> were introduced from the Old World.</li><li><strong>Population booms</strong> that nearly doubled the population of the Old World was one that was sustained by New World crops. And <strong>led to cramped horrible conditions</strong> in European cities for the working class. One exacerbated by the increasing prices that came into being as a direct result of inflation caused by precious metals flooding european markets from the new world.
