We can recommend to colleagues Gergana, Richard and Tiziana to continue studying. Unfortunately the money is not a lot, but teachers know how to be the same exceptionals. So we continue to prepare ourselves hoping for better times also from the financial point of view. We also try to obtain the presence of people specialize in school's ICT administration and people in charge of advice to teachers on the pedagogical use of different devices.

In Secondary school we have only 5 PC computers and 4 laptops with obsolete systems and wifi is really slow (we actually have 2 Mbps, even if the contract is 7 Mbps).
We use 2 Projectors and 2 IWBs for 10 classes.
We won a project two years ago so we created a Class 2.0 with an E-board and 20 tablets, but wifi is slow so it's difficult to connect them.
Fortunately we won an European project so with new funds we are waiting for the installation of 4 Interactive Monitors.
There are always problems and I have to solve technical issues everyday, we have not got a specialized technician, so every teacher who has a technical problem comes to me and ask for help.
We need new infrastructure, we need faster wifi, we need specialized technical support and we need to learn how to use new technologies, but we always do our best to work with the technologies we have.

by watching the three videos and reading the several entries in this padlet I reflected upon how lucky we are in my school! I teach in an upper secondary school in Emilia Romagna in Italy. We have 2 language labs with 28 computer each . We also have 2 ITlabs with 26 computer each. In many classrooms we have a whiteboard or a beamer which can be connected to our pcs or to a pc of the school. we also use BYOD , but , as I said previously , students must use their private internet connection while using their own devices. Normally we have a good internet connection even if sometimes there are some problems in some classrooms . We have also a specialized technician who takes care of all the technical aspects. With the team for innovation we try to plan for the future and to plan also specific teacher training. For my eTwinning projects I work with my students using all the devices we can have to disposal at school. Of course there are some aspect which could be implemented for example through the use of 2 more trolleys with tablets and computers, as we have about 1600 students and the need of well functioning devices is high
However I think we must invest on more training for teachers

Of course, when resources are limited there are not many possibilities for a teacher with a lot of demands to make him/her happy, but within a climate of cooperation and mutual understanding many good things can happen.
Alexandros' recommandations are very useful here.

Actually it’s very difficult to develop a digital strategy in schools this lack of human and material resources. Probably, it’s easier to have access to more material resources than human resources. Last year I was in a presentation about BYOD, it was a school in UK which had not fundings for equipment and after discussing it with families they finished using the students’ smartphones. In some places people are recovering old computers replacing Windows OS with some Linux distribution or Chromium.

Many of the teachers have serious reserves to leave the paper and work with computers. Using the most ICT active teachers to introduce ICT in the school led us to make the director of the school look ICT in other way, and reserve money to informatize the school. I think when you have more and more teachers asking and demonstrate between colleagues that ICT facilitate is job, administration need to respond to this movement.

All the classrooms are equipped with a Lim and its laptop. The hardware is quite new and in particular in one of the labs we are replacing the old laptops with new desktop PCs. We have free Wifi for students and teachers, though it is rather slow. We, however, need specialized technical support since we have school technicians but they are not skilled enough. In these years we have been supported economically by bank funds supporting schools and education in our town. My advice is applying for PON projects, crowdfunding, bank funding, cooperatives and using BYOD as we are doing now. Finally we have supported the staff with peer to peer training and workshops for teachers about digital innovation in teaching and learning and cooperative learning.

Many challenges do we have to face when it is about equipment and technical problems for which we do not have economical funds to provide for or adequate training. I think I am not the only one trying to do the best to let things function at their best, like updating programs, mending cables, connecting devices. Furthermore, in Italy, after the PNSD, the Italian program for innovative schools, we have assumed the role of IT admins, which is intended not as a mean technician but as a pedagogical innovator. This is fine. The plan intended to give also a minus budget,1000 a year, to be used in order to implement innovation at school. This was unfortunately only a programmatic point.
The main fact remains the most of the job is done on a voluntary basis, during spare time when we are not teaching.

We lost our previous technological equipment because of the earthquake. Now, in the new school buildings, we have an IWB in each class, a good (not excellent) internet connection via LAN cable (no wifi) a few mobile laboratories (tabcabbies). In our secondary school we have since last year a computer lab, which we call "FabLab" . We have even got a 3D printer. All thanks to post-quake charity by companies, individuals, parents, fundraising....However, we now face some similar problems as in the 3 videos: lack of teacher training, maintenance cost, no technical staff inside the school.
