And Keesh continued to run away and drop little round balls and the bear continued to swallow them up.'' This evidence shows that Keesh uses his head to find a way to kill the polar bear by using snowballs for the bear to consume it to grow weak. According to the text'' The bear wandered, now this way and now that, doubling back and forth and crossing his trail in circles, so that at the end he was near where Keesh had first come upon him.  By this time he was quite sick, the bear, and could crawl no farther, so Keesh came up close and speared him to death." He is determined because he wants to make sure that his voice is heard. But the hunters did not take him seriously because he is a child. This shows that Keesh is determined, he speaks louder for the hunters to hear to get his way.
