This photo brings out the ghostly appearance that having a slow shutter speed gives to an image. You can tell that she is jumping but you can't tell where she is because the image is stretched from having a slow shutter speed on.

This image is a great one of her jumping because it was caught while she was in mid air and you can make out where she was, unlike the last image. This image would have appeared much better if the other students were all jumping at the same time

This image appears much better than the last one because that ghostly effect is not nearly as much obvious as before. This is a great image because once again she is in midair, however others weren't on time again.

I changed the camera to be shutter priority by moving the top wheel to the S setting and then by turning the wheel by the right hand side of the camera to what I wanted the shutter speed to be. This was done very easily and took nearly no time to do.
As the shutter speed is turned up to a faster speed colors are darkened but the image becomes clearer. As the shutter speed is turned down the colors become brighter and the image is blurred.
I would want to use shutter speed as a priority because it is water gives your image its clarity and color. When one wants a blurred image that is kind of elusive, they will use a slow shutter speed. If one wants a glass clear image they will use a high shutter speed and brighten it in an editing software.
