In the first place, many brave people follow rules even when they don't agree with the law. Also, what does bravery mean to other people. Last but not least, brave people have to over come any obstacles.
To start, many brave people follow the rules/laws even if they don't agree.According to the article by Quil Lawrence it states, "Honestly and it didn't matter what sentence he gave me.That meant a lot to me... throughout all of this that's what I've been looking for.Just for people to see that i meant well, and that I went the wrong road"This means that he did not throw a punch or anything when they told him he was going back to jail.To sum it up, you have to follow the rules even when you don't agree whit the law/rule
Furthermore, what does bravery mean to others.According to

In my opinion, bravery is taking risks and facing your fears even if it is scary. Many people serve in the military and have to do so.

First of all, many people do certain things that require bravery. Such as police officers, fire fighters, doctors, and people that get deployed in the military. They do stuff like this to save lives. And one simple mistake can mess everything up and blow it. All these things that these people do require bravery.

Second of all, to me, bravery is taking the risks and facing your fears, no matter how scary they can possibly be. And some people have to everyday, whether its stopping a criminal, or saving the entire country. Taking risks can be scary, but it benefits other people. Being brave can be hard, but it's worth it.

In the military interviews, Lieutenant Vasquez said, "What is bravery? Well, to me it's putting yourself in danger for other people and not caring what happens to you." This explains that the military requires self-danger and a lot of bravery to be in the military.

In conclusion, that is what bravery is. It's taking risks, and facing your fears, no matter how scary they are to you, if it's for others safety.

What do you think bravery is? What does it mean to be brave? In my opinion i think to be brave is to be unafraid ,strong ,and to keep hope in the darkest times.

To begin with, when you're brave , how do you show it? Many actions of being brave is through everyday jobs or tasks. For example ,if you're a police officer ,a firefighter, or a person in the military, you have to gather your courage and be brave to fight anyone to protect your could.

Moreover, my perspective on bravery is that to gather your courage to help acomplish some sort of problem. Bravery doesn't just include in jobs. You can be brave in school too. Like, for instance, at school, maybe you're doing some sort of important test and you want to past. You have to be brave in order to do that.

Furthermore, there are some people that also think the same. For example, Captain Lancaster stated that "The people who go into dangerous situations like combat areas are really brave. They risk their lives every day when their out there.

What is bravery to you, do you think that you have ever done something brave is so what was the outcome? I think bravery is someone who is willing to risk everything for what they believe in or to help another.

First of all, if your willing to risk your really passionate about your cause. In the article (behind bars)it states "Combat veterans often face a particularly daunting set of challenges upon returning home from war .What the article is trying to say is that you have to be brave to be in combat because you see things that you dont like , dead bodies, blood.

Secondly, how much people risk and the outcomes. Also in the article Behind bars,(...set of challenges include...psychiatric disorders, unemployment, a lack of access to health care.

My final reason, Bravery is taking a risk to benefit someone else not caring what happens to yourself. Lt. Strowman says "Bravery to me is taking a personal risk to benefit someone else.

In conclusion,Bravery is a trait that people develop and are willing to risk everything for their cause , you don't have to be in the armed forces to be brave is depends on you, and your bravery.

I think that everyone should go and work for are country because, you live here so you should be able to help with something. ya not every one wants to go in combact but there is way more to do in the military then just to go into in war you can work on war crafts cook and many other things.

some people are frightend to go into the military because some people don't want to get shot, or they are afraid to shoot a gun, and they could alson be scared to shoot somebody. Everybody should be brave and go into the military because its are county are freedom are responsibilty to keep are county in shape. so to me it just makes perfect scence for everyone to help are country!

some people will not risk there life for others in which i can understand because you might still want to live your life. I would risk my life for somebody else . the only reason why I would do that is because somebody is putting there life for risk for me!

What does bravery mean to you? Would you risk your life for somebody else, For example like putting your life on the risk of dyeing? I would!

In my view, bravery is doing something your scared of even if its the smallest thing. You don't have to go out and stop a war to be brave, all you could do id face your fear and your brave.

First of all, people who are brave have done something there scared of. As stated by Behind Bars paragraph 6 "Carlson has spent most of the past 5 years locked up. Before that he did two tours in Iraq. His family says the second tour, in particular, scarred him." He did something that scarred him, that seems pretty brave to me.

Furthermore, even when a person is scared they still do what they gotta do. Duty, Honor, Country addressed in paragraph 2 "your mission remains, determined, inviolable. It is to win our wars." This means even though the world is changing around you, you have to keep the mission at mind.

Thirdly, leaving your family behind is scary cause you never what could happen to you or them while your apart. "Lt. Stroman mentions " When I was 17, I was enlisted and was sent to Korea, Although I'm always for traveling and adventure, it was tough leaving your family at such a young age" In other words she was brave enough to leave her family and go to Korea.

For the above mentioned reasons, bravery is when you do something your afraid of even if it isn't the toughest thing in the world. Those reasons are what bravery means.

Bravery..what dose it mean to you? As far as i'm concerned bravery is when you go out of your way to do something you normally don't do. If you go out of your way to do something your not use to then I would think that you are brave.
For someone to be brave they could do stuff they aren't use to. To begin with someone who dose something they don't like is brave. In the article ''Behind Bars'' it states ''Carlson is trying to get on the right road.'' This makes him brave because if you have been doing wrong all your life then it will take a lot of bravery to try to get on the right road again. You can be brave and not even know it.
If you are brave, then you will do anything to get to your goal. Also, you wont let anything get in your way of reaching your goal. In "Duty, Honor, Country" it says that "And through all this welter of change and development your mission remains the same." What that is saying is that even when thing around you change your goal/mission should remain the same.
It is scary sometimes to be brave. I agree being brave can be scary. As Lt. Storman states "Yes. I was deployed to Iraq a few years ago, and when there are bullets flying around over the walls of the base, it can get pretty scary. We had to get the supplies to the people who needed them, though." Even though while she was deployed it got scary she didn't give up on what was important. Just because something is scary doesn't mean you have to avoid it.
All in all, being brave is stepping outside your comfort zone and doing the right thing. It may get scary but you shouldn't run away. You should also never change your mission.

What is bravery ? Have you ever just wondered what bravery means ? In my perspective means being strong ,fearless ,risk taking ,doing something you wouldn't usually do on a regular .
First of all ,bravery is doing something that you fear . Although some believe that bravery is being on the wild side like jumping off bridges ,driving a car illegally ,smoking and drinking at a young age its not at all . Bravery is what our Armed forces do for a living everyday to protect us from danger. "Bravery to me is taking a personal risk to benefit someone else " says Lt.Stroman .
Furthermore ,being brave is not always easy . For example the military they have to get deployed to places like Iraq or Peru etc. Places where you have no choice but to be brave . During war you have two choices to die or to be brave ."Being in war can be traumatizing " stated in Behind Bars .You can develop mental disorder such as ptsd a disorder that makes you go crazy .
Lastly , every one experiences fear . Me ,you ,moms dads, grandmas grandpas, every one . But the people who fear the most is military they take risk everyday .Said by Lt.Stroman "when there is bullets flying it gets pretty scary" .See even they get scared and experiences fear . Most likely more then we do in a week in a day .Fear is ever where and in everyone
In the final analysis , bravery is fearless strong and powerful. Also not easy nor not scary .Bravery is a big thing to handle its frightening and traumatizing . What is bravey to you ?

He is a really brave man and if we were all like him then we would not have anyone stealing, or robing stores, or killing people and we might not have a lot of people in jail if everyone was as brave as him. According to Carlson he says that the "P.T.S.D. is with him there in the cell, and every day he fights it of being in there. ~ In Addition the soldiers are praying for peace and risking their lives for us. That is another thing about bravery people are out their risking their lives for us and some of us don't care but for me i do care. This is why we celebrate Veterans day for the people because they are brave and will put their lives in front for ours. On the contrary, the soldier above all other people prays for peace and for he must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war. ~ Furthermore they are

Bravery isn't when you have no fear. Everyone has feared something in there life. Bravery is to have courage and facing fear. Someone is always going to fear, even in battle. When someone fears they are brave enough to go for it even if it means to get out of jail cause they fear they will never get out. Lastly it takes risk to do something very dangerous.

To begin with there are brave warriors looking after us. Some suffer there fear and especially people that are in war. General MacArthur stated , "he must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war."So many had suffered like him. According to Lt. Vasquez "What is bravery?

There are many different opinions to what is bravery, in my opinion bravery is following the rules, even when you don't agree with them. My first reason is that many people don't like the rules that they have to follow in life. My second reason is that in jail many rules are implied to the inmates. Last but not least many people face obstacles.

To begin with, many people don't like the rules that they have to follow in life. Captain Lancaster said that some rules where really hard to follow.

Also, in jail many rules are implied to the inmates. Quil Lawrence said in paragraph 40 that Carlson didn't care about the sentence that the judge gave him because if he would of argued with the judge he could of gotten more years in prison.

Last but not least, people face many different challenges. In his statement, Captain Lancaster said that one of his biggest challenges was college. Also for many people in prison like Carlson face challenges like other gangs. "My training always geared around very good cardio, because I knew no matter how good a fighter was, as long as I could outlast him, I would win."

What is brave? In my view I think bravery is someone that follows the rules even if u do not agree.
Furthermore, what does bravery mean to others.According to Lt. Vasquez said, " What is bravery? Well, to me it's putting yourself in danger for other people and not caring what happens to you."Clearly, this means that other people have different opinions and theirs no wrong or wright answer because all can be right.
Last but not least, brave people have to face difficult obstacles and they have to overcome it.Whit reference to, Lt. Vasquez stated that "Leaving my family and wife when I have to go to training is difficult."This means that most brave people have to face a lot of obstacles and for me i think this is brave.
To sum it up, brave people are people that follow the law even if you don't agree. Also different people have different opinions about what brave means. Last, not all brave people but most may face obstacle and they have to overcome the obstacles. This is why i think this way. Hope you agree.

In my opinion it is going against your fears to help someone else that needs it.
one reason that this is my opinionis because people in the USA will fight to the death for there nation and thats being brave and my evidence for saying that is in common lit Duty Honor Country Address at west point. The author states that it is vital for them to ein the wars and everything else in your professional career is but corollary and if we lose the nation will be destoryed.

the next opinion reasoning is that it can be vary scary to be in the military and fight for your cuntery and not being able to know what will happen to you. Thats not a good feeling to go to work every day not knowing what will happen to you it is so easy to die in war its unsettling .

And that was my reasons for what bravery is because you have to have these traits and understand these traites.

In conclusion,Bravery is a trait that people develop and are willing to risk everything for their cause , you don't have to be in the armed forces to be brave is depends on you, and your bravery.Being brave is an important factor in being a good role model and or veteran,(armed forces).

"Bravery to me is taking a personal risk to benefit someone else " says Lieutenant Stroman .
But the people who fear the most is military they take risk everyday .Said by Lieutenant Stroman "when there is bullets flying it gets pretty scary" .See even they get scared and experiences fear . Most likely more then we do in a week in a day .Fear is ever where and in everyone
In the final analysis , bravery is fearless strong and powerful. Also not easy nor not scary .Bravery is a big thing to handle its frightening and traumatizing . What is bravery to you ?

What is bravery? In my view, bravery is doing something your scared of even if its the smallest thing. You don't have to go out and stop a war to be brave, all you could do is face your fear and your brave.

First of all, people who are brave have done something there scared of. As stated by Behind Bars paragraph 6 "Carlson has spent most of the past 5 years locked up. Before that he did two tours in Iraq. His family says the second tour, in particular, scarred him." He did something that scarred him and got post traumatic stress disorder. He didn't go to Iraq because he parents wanted him to, he did it because he wanted to help our country. That is pretty brave to me.

Furthermore, even when a person is scared they still do what they gotta do. Duty, Honor, Country addressed in paragraph 2 "your mission remains fixed, determined, inviolable.

Those reasons are what bravery is.

Overall, my opinion about what it means to be brave is that you are willing to take risks, be strong, kind, and keep hope in the darkest times.

According to Carlson he says that the "P.T.S.D. is with him there in the cell, and every day he fights it of being in their.

In Addition the soldiers are praying for peace and risking their lives for us.
Furthermore they are brave and still are afraid for the things still coming in their life. I personally would be scared to go some were with a hole bunch of people and not know what they are capable of and if they like to kill every thing in its sight and you were bunched with that person at a camp or at jail . But if he were their then he could conquer being in their for days. To begin with it says in the text that ''their are bullets flying around over the walls of the base, it can get pretty scary.

For the above mentioned reasons bravery is when you don't agree with rules, but you still follow them. Putting your life for someone else's even if you hate that person or don't know them. My story to you is to never give up and always try. Don't be the person that says that your not brave because you are. Always follow your dream and be just like the military people and the man who faced his fears.

General MacArthur talks about the ones that die had seen the end of war.

In addition all brave people had to die for something. Fear is always around. But you never notice it. Even if it me fearing that someone is going to come out of jail. According to the article Quil Lawrence said,"Being locked up isn't helping..." This meant that he wants to get out but he is going to need to be supported. He was Fearing that he will never come out of jail.

All things considered only ones that risk lives for others, are true heroes. Every single days there are brave people. in the article Lt. Vasquez says,"Well, to me it's putting yourself in danger for other people and not caring what happens to you." Soldiers are always in combat. This one cares for others.

To sum it all up bravery is not fearing it is having courage, fighting for what correct, and taking risk. There are some that fear while others that don't care about them self. Joining the military is a risk. They will always have to take a risk.

Your going to have to a vengefully face your fears so just face them now and save yourself the trouble. This this is what I think about bravery.

Now fear i'll tell you something scary how about war and for thews how served for us and this country thank you. Now like I said bravery is to face your fear and still do the right thing.

Hey you what do you think that bravery is.In my point of view I think that bravery is to face your fear and overcome obstacles that may come your way .

The first reason is that people in war take there life in risk of death . according to the text "Duty,Honor ,Country Address at west point " in paragraph 9 it say that "The soldier above all other people pray for peace " and " that only the dead have seen the end of war".so this mean that the people that come to war have fear that it can be the end of war because when they die they can't get hurt no more so that is a big risk to see the end of war.

The second reason is that you got to overcoming big obstacles . According to LT .Stroman she said that she her self had to over come some obstacles .LT. Stroman said that"When I was seventeen ,I enlisted and was sent to korea .Although I'm always for traveling
and adventure ,it was tough leaving your family when you'er young . Iraq too was a really challenging. will like we see overcome can be any thing like something big or small like Lt Stroman had to leave her home but some

People take risks, they don't act scared, and facing hard obstacles.

    People must take risk.

What is bravery?? Well the definition is people who are ready to endure danger or pain, but in my opinion, bravery means to be strong when needed, to believe in your self and to never give up.

First of all, some people think that bravery is just a word, When you are in a war and there bullets left and right of you is bravery just a word? According to Lt. Vasquez "What is bravery? Well, to me it's putting your self in danger for other people and not caring what happens to you."

In addition, People take risk and have fear when being brave. A lot of times they have fear of loosing family.A student asked Lt. Stroman if she has ever been afraid in miliatry service Stroman states"Yes. I was deployed a few years ago and when there are bullets flying around over the walls of the base, it can get pretty scary. We had to get the supplies to the people who needed the, though."

Lastly, being brave is not easy. people get scared or worried that some thing might happen to them. Its not always the person in war thats scared, sometimes its a loved one. They could get scared that they could come back hurt or not come back atall . I know that sounds crazy but its true.

what is bravery to you. Ask your self if its hard to answer that question. Well if it is that's a shame because everyone has bravery in them. Bravery is very important to have. If you don't have any bravery how can you take risk. How will you help others when there in distress or maybe even in danger. To me bravery means putting yourself in harms way for other people and not caring weather your in danger or not. Do you think superman or maybe even batman have bravery? Do you think they have bravery because there super hero's or because they save the world and help other's. Well our army, and navy have a lot of brave people even those who work on technology and those who fix there boats, guns and make there uniform and those who help the injured ones as they are called nurses. There's a man who is brave his name is LT.Vasquez. He is brave because he had to leave his family and his wife for training i wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my family. Then again i don't think anyone feels comfortable leaving there family for a job. According to "Behind bars, vets with PTSD face a new kind of war zone, with little support" these men and woman are fighting a war

"Bravery to me is taking a personal risk to benefit someone else " says Lieutenant Stroman .
In my opinion i think to be brave is to be unafraid ,strong ,and to keep hope in the darkest times.

To begin with, when you're brave , how do you show it? Many actions of being brave is through everyday jobs or tasks.
trinity myers 2what is bravery? In my opinion it is going against your fears to help someone else that needs it.one reason that this is my opinions because people in the USA will fight to the death for there nation and that's being brave and my evidence for saying that is in common lit Duty Honor Country Address at west point. The author states that it is vital for them to end the wars and everything else in your professional career is but corollary and if we lose the nation will be destoryed. the next opinion reasoning is that it can be vary scary to be in the military and fight for your cuntery and not being able to know what will happen to you. Thats not a good feeling to go to work every day not knowing what will happen to you it is so easy to die in war its unsettling . And that was my reasons for what bravery is because you have to have these traits and understand these traites.with respest

In my opinion bravery is being courageous and fearless. People take risks, they don't act scared, and facing hard obstacles. People must take risk. According to an article by General Douglas MacArthur people fight on the field having scars from battles. People come back hurt or not normal. That is the risk of this job of bravery in the military. People must not be scared. According to General Douglas MacArthur , in his speech he repeats the words Duty, Honor,Country. This gives the idea that you should have the will to win even if you have to make a sacrifice. No matter what don't be scared.People face obstacles that are hard to over come. Defined by Lieutenant Vasquez one obstacle was leaving family behind and going to the military. He probably misses his family when. So you have herd an obstacle. Taking all into account, these are the reasons that my opinion is to be courageous and fearless. Taking risks, not being scared, and facing hard obstacles. These are all reasons why I think my opinion.

what is bravery to you.
PTSD is a very serious disorder and people who have to fight it is very very brave . click here .

In his statement, Captain Lancaster said that he had to follow the rules even if he didn't like them to rank up in the Air Force.

In "Behind Bars, Vets With PTSD Face A New War Zone, With Little Support"" Carlson said, "In cell fighting, the No. 1 rule is take the initiative." "My training always geared around very good cardio, because I knew no matter how good a fighter was, as long as I could outlast him, I would win." Carlson does this for self defense.

In brief, I feel that bravery is following the rules even when you like the. CLICK HERE

What is bravery? Bravery is fighting for someone you love no matter what, sacrificing yourself entirely for them.
My reasons being:
1. Soldiers have to leave home whenever war is declared. They fight and serve for their country, which means they love their country. They sacrifice themselves for America.
2. While the soldiers are fighting, there could be another reason to why they're fighting; like for their daughter, son, or wife/husband.
3. While soldiers are on the battlefield and if their friend gets hurt or another soldier, they have to fight off any enemies nearby and carry them to help.

A soldier's motivation is amazing and incredible, and what they sacrifice themselves is just as great. They sacrifice themselves for Duty, Honor, Country. If soldiers didn't care, where would our country be? No inspiration? we'd be doomed. What if a soldier goes down? That's a scary thought for the soldier and their families. A soldier sacrifices themselves for love, country, and family, and duty, honor, country.
