Instead of white rice, I used a mixture of brown and white rice as brown rice is healthier than white rice.
I was able to manage my time relatively well during the cooking process and multitask between the different components of the dish. However, I should have spent more time on the presentation of the dish to make it more appealing. I struggled with the dish presentation as I had very little garnishing. If I were to do it over again, I would have planned beforehand how to present the dish so I would not struggle and spend so much time on it.
The food blogging process helped me to better understand my strengths and weaknesses when it came to food and design. For example, some of my weaknesses was time management and multitasking, so I practised cooking chicken rice several times in preparation for my practical assessment. It also helped me to better understand the ways in which recipes could be modified to become healthier and how it would affect the taste of the dish.

The two overlapping ovals have very different colour schemes, with one in black, white and grey while the other uses a wide variety of colours, with the overlapping segment forming a pupil-like shape. From the words outlining it, the black-and-white part could be reality while the multicoloured part represents imagination. I find the background interesting as it is made up of triangles, some coloured and others blank, which is especially effective in conveying how the artist's dreams are a mixture of imagination and reality. 
Another aspect of the painting that I like is the brushstrokes in the multicoloured segment of the painting. The different colours are applied in patches and the brushstrokes create a dreamlike effect, where some of the colours blend into each other but in others, clash.
One of the questions I have is in regards to the choice of photographs, which are from the 20th century and not from the present era. I am curious as to the reasons behind the decision to use photographs from the past instead of from our present society.
