Multimodal Texts help support 4 Roles of the Reader-Viewer:
1. Navigator (not decoder)
2. Interpreter
3. Designer
4. Interrogator
**When I read about Multimodal texts, I am reminded of the very cool story, "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries" by Pemberley Digital which re-told the Pride and Prejudice story across many platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. It was a great contemporary re-telling of Jane Austen's classic story, in honour of her 200th birthday. I wonder how I can use, and inspire my colleagues and students, by using a variety of texts.
