~Similar to Connor, I didn't have experience in the field i was getting myself into. I had never owned or taken care of a dog before so i had no clue what to expect.
~And just like Connor, I fell in love with these dogs much like how he fell in love with the children at little princes. She found it hard to walk them everyday because of work and didn't want her puppies to be neglected. She decided to ask me if I was interested in being their dog walker. I decided to agree to the offer and became Chili and Rubies official dog walker. Every week i walk the dogs twice and occasionally i will replace their pee pads or give them their dinner. These walks have allowed her body to shift from a little ball of chub to a perfect little pup. Rubies old weight was not good for her health and her body considering she is a miniature dachshund. This website gives great advice on letting your dog be a dog and not trying to control their every move if they are not harming the environment around them.

I was skeptical at first on how this was going to work out and I would be lying if i said it wasn't difficult at times. No matter how much I was indifferent at first I am 100% in love with doing this. Not only is this a good thing for the dogs, it is a good thing for me. On these walks I am able to shut my brain down for awhile and tune into he sounds around me. I love these walks for self reflection time and leaving me alone to just think. These puppies have impacted my life for the better. With this experience I was able to gain a patience and understanding of the world around me. The Humansociety.org gives great info on what and what not to do in hot weather. The website gives good advice on not only to prevent heat stroke but to treat a dog suffering from heat stroke.
