Differences between on arrival which is a training so more close program and evaluation midterm is a meeting they ask the volunteers what they want to work with. Normally the topics they are interested are the same as the European Commission proposals.
The challenge for the training team is to make the flow in spot taking in account the topics the volunteers express.
In on arrival they work about project management.
Some countries share training with mentors to share points of view and set the plan together.
Many countries take in account the request from the trainers anual meeting to make improvements.

Most of the time the minimum standards set by the commission or the NA still allows to tackle the participants (during midterms there is sometimes more flexibility in terms of TEC objectives, but also the volunteers have more expectations). There is a lot of creating based on the needs and thrligh day by day planning. It is trainers responsibility to know what the actual needs are even if volunteers are not aware about their own needs.
