         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>Pre learning course - with a quiz and scenario - they learn the definition and triggers of a duty of candour - 15-20 mins duration</p></li><li><p>Creating a scenario- involves </p><p>full scenario for faculty </p><p>prompts for participants </p><p>script for SP - clear , calibrated emotional boundaries set, standard responses </p></li><li><p>Dry run with all faculty on the day before including equipment testing. </p></li><li><p>Event - interactive simulation</p></li><li><p>3 groups of 10 divided over 3 rooms and 3 different scenarios- Duty of candour only. </p></li><li><p>Measureable - explanation of what happened in scenario to patient, how they handled it, apology and plan of action for subsequent such similar events. </p></li><li><p>Post scenario quick quiz whether they achieved the learning outcome </p></li><li><p>Debrief and feedback </p><p><br/></p></li></ol>]]></description>
