This public gallery will be a collection of young and upcoming local artist’s work, with a large variation on the different forms of art (Photography, sculpture, drawing etc.). The common theme for the collection will be Celebration of emotion allowing the artists to create moving and emotional pieces without putting too much restriction on them.

A collection of street artist’s will also be doing live installations on either parts of the showgrounds or old cars parts, doors, tables, cupboards etc. Examples of artists doing murals include: Jodee Knowles, Ian Strange, Twoone, Kyle Hughes-Odgers, Destroy, yok, Amok Island, Staker, Mel McVee

The advertising of the festival will be promoted through different avenues of media. The promotion of the festival is important in order to gain public interest and awareness of the event to create a big target audience. As it is a community arts project, the event will be promoted in the local suburbs around Perth in outlets and public attractions. The use of social media, television and radio and print media will allow the event to attract a large public domain and in result, a large contribution to the Beyond Blue Youth campaign.

In creating a Facebook event for the festival, the public are enabled to RSVP to the event, post any questions or enquiries about the event and can locate important information about the festival such as date, time, cost appearance and so on. The page be interactive and communicative with creating competitions for free tickets, VIP, cash money prizes and a chance to meet the appearances of the festival. In order to enter the competition, the competition post will be shared and therefor reaching a more global audience.

For access to the designated alcohol area, guests must provide valid proof of age to receive a second wrist band, which will be orange

$3.00 from every ticket sold will be donated to Youth Beyond Blue.

The event will be a smoke free event. There will also be a single designated alcohol area. In order to keep alcohol confined to this one area, there will be no BYO allowed. If guests wish to access this area, they will be required to prove their age at the entry gates, where they will receive a separate orange wristband in addition to their ticket, which is used to enter this area and allow them to purchase alcohol.

This venue was chosen due to its pavilions, outdoor areas and grassed arena, which can accommodate the acts who will be performing at the event.
It is also highly accessible due to there being a train station close by, and has enough parking for more than 2000 cars.

The main purpose of this one-day festival is to raise youth awareness of mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, which are common among those aged from 16 - 24 years old (the main target audience for this event) and to raise money for Youth Beyond Blue. While there are some toilet and bathroom facilities available already on site, there are not enough for the 'expected 40,000 people'. We would Hire out 500 more Portaloos.

100 portaloos would be added around each of the main stages. 50 would then be placed at both the Gallery and Live Painting exhibitions and the 18+ only area. the last 100 would be scattered in with the rest of the stalls.

We would hire these out from a company like Coates Hire (linked below).

As this is a major event, there will be security. There will be patrols all though the event, but they will focus on the areas that are most likely for violence to occur, such as the 18+ only section, and around the concerts. The will also be a concentration on the Gallery and Live Painting area to ensure that no graffiti occurs.

There will also be sniffer-dogs at each gate. Any bags that are brought into the event will be checked to ensure no glass or alcohol is taken into the event. Sniffer-dogs will minimise, if not eliminate the use of illegal drugs at this event.

So ensure this, a company, such as Hawk Eye Security (linked below) will be hired.

The media is the world's primary source of information and entertainment. It provides a cheap but effective medium in which to convey news and advertising to the masses. This is why representatives from each form of media outlet (T.V, Radio and Print) has been invited to the event. By providing such a diverse range of coverage of the event, we are ensuring that the maximum amount of people possible are informed of the event, should they have missed the advertisements or been unable to attend. As such, this then improves the chances of a larger turn out and hence larger amount of funds being raised for the cause of Beyond Blue. In the area's that are white, there will be other attractions. Specifically stalls. There will be a number of stalls in the area, and where it is possible, they will be grouped. For instance, surrounding Isobel's Live painting and Display Gallery area, there will be stalls with a focus on selling arts and crafts. This May include paints, brushes, pastels, dyes and canvases.

Around the three stages, there will be stalls selling various paraphernalia for each of the bands. There will also be instruments and other stage materials such as microphones for sale in there areas.

Statistics today reveal that T.V news is still the most widespread/ most tuned into news medium in Australia. It's for this reason that invitations have been extended to the ABC, Channel 9, Channel 7 and Channel 10 to attend the event and compile stories around it. This will ensure that the event is made known about to a wide variety of people, potentially nation wide, but also placing emphasis on the different aspects of the event itself. I.e Channel 7 may focus on the attendance of Arctic Monkeys and the impact this may have on attendance, whilst the ABC may look more at the event itself and the cause its supporting.

Present at the event will be several if Perth's most popular radio stations broadcasting live from the event, including Triple J, NOVA 937 and Mix 94.5. Each station will be broadcasting live from 9am in the lead up to the gates opening and will be conducting interviews with guest performers, event organisers and Beyond Blue spokespersons as well as recording grabs from attendees as the day progresses. Every station will also be present with free give-aways and other goodies, and following the event, will post an online article on their respective websites providing a wrap up of the days events.

The hiring of staff for the event will need to cater to the technical effects that are taking place.
Stage – equipment must be hired and constructed following OHS guidelines including the audience barrier and safety step, the construction crew for each stage, will also be the stage crew whom alter each set after performances.

Lighting – equipment and safety equipment must also be hired organize, stage crew to set uplighting effects, fire works and special effects on stage (flames, smoke machine, confetti) a technical lighting and effects crew for each stage within 50 meters of eachstage and set up with coverage for any weather issue that may arise.

Sound – quality fitted speakers at stage and 100 meters from stage t compensate for larger crowds sound technician in control of volume, bass and set change music and any other technical equipment such as microphone.

Stage art- Including some of the local art work as the decoration for around the stage
as the scenography each stage will have related art to the type of music that is being performed
on that stage.

Safety checks on the morning of the festival must be made to ensure guidelines are followed
all including the safety of the workers and the precautions that need to be taken for the day
. Correspondence through out the day will be largely made with the stage manager. There will be
around the clock inspections for each stage to make sure every thing is running smoothly and that set changes are being followed correctly.
Each member of the crew will have a time table and a script to follow to ensure all lighting,
sound and technical aspects of the show provide a visual and audible pleasing event.
