Kardeşler Cumhuriyet Secondary School is located in Keçiören which is a metropolitan district of Ankara Province in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey, a crowded district in the northern part of the city of Ankara.There are 1385 enrolled students ranging from 11-14 years old, and there are 70 teachers.As a school aiming to educate our students at international level, we use integrated approach in Language teaching.
We adopt one of 2020 european strategic targets within the life long learning program that is increasing the rate of foreign language learning and learning at least one foreign language in addition to the mother tongue of all citizens of the EU. During the pandemic period; our lifestyle habits, our expectations from life have been changed. Students are also far away from their peers. They sometimes feel abandoned. They miss their life before pandemic. We, as teachers, have the power to change our students’ negative feelings. We can show them that they are not alone.

Ice-breaker webinar were made.On 31st of August,2020 We had a webinar in with Turkish Partners.It was about eTwinning usage and Twinspace platform.Project topics and eSafety rules were other important topics.We made a webinar for giving information about our project and eSafety with our parents and some of our teacher.As Kardeşler Cumhuriyet Secondary School, we held a webinar with our students to give information about eTwinning portal and Twinspace usage.Also info about the eSafety rules and project topics were shared (7/09/2020).One of our teacher from our school joined our meeting as a guest and she shared her experiences and infos about eTwinning.We also had a chat with our students on chatroom on eTwinning portal ,this became an ice-break activity for us.Before chatting we met our partner Yasemin Süren Özgür and she gave some important information about eTwinning portal and about project tasks.Thanks to her for guiding us. UNIT 3 IN THE KITCHEN 8TH GRADE

8th grade 3rd unit (in the kitchen) is compatible with the Collective Work-Traditional Recipe Book activity.In addition, part of the students' cooking advanture photos includes all the achievements of this unit. Writing the recipe part section again improves the writing skills of our children, which are important in English acquisition.Commen Recipe Book in the project is an important proof of cooperation as it includes all the achievements.
