According to Utusan Online (2014)&nbsp; the ratio of female enrolled in public universities was 69.5% or 26 030 places offered, compared to male students with only 11 437 (30%). Beside that, these residential college provide infrastructure needs and convenience for student such as buses for transportation and ensuring the student welfare are the top grade.</div><div>Unfortunately every semester there were students were moved out from the residential college for some reason that causing those students forced o search for a place to stay nearby UPSI for the continuation of their studying. Indeed, smartphone play an important role in our daily life. Phubbing is a new term which has been introduced by a group of experts in May 2012 at the University of Sydney. It is a word to describe the habit of snubbing someone while in favour of a mobile phone. According to stopphubbing.com, phubbing has been defined as the act of snubbing someone in a social setting by looking at your phone instead of paying attention. Furthermore, phubbing can be best understood as the extent to which an individual uses or is distracted by his/her cell phone while in the company of his/her relationship partner. To put it in simple, it is an addiction to phone while ignoring someone. Phubbing has greatly affected an individual well being and the relationship satisfaction. Many studies have been done in investigating how phubbing affect the relationship of human beings, how phone snubbing “phubbing” becomes socially acceptable and more. The reasons for this significant and growing gender disparity in IPTAs are still not well understood in the Malaysian context. One reason could be the academic achievement gap between boys and girls begin from a young age. The field of study in which men still outnumber women is engineering, manufacturing and construction. However, women in Malaysia have far greater representation in this field, compared with many developed nations.
