The students are each handed a lollipop stick and asked to write their name on it and hand it back to the teacher. The teacher will then place these in a flask and start choosing from these lollipop sticks and the name which comes out is asked the question. The teacher can have two jars in one so that if somebody has already been asked a question they can put it in the outside one. This allows for randomization and keeps students attentive in case their name is called. The teacher also doesn't have to call the name in which they pulled out and can just pretend.
