When at the ATP there were various advertising strategies that were put in place to entice the customers in.
The types of sponsorship that came about was:
Moet
FedEx
O2
Peugeot
Rolex
These are big sponsors of events that can provide money to make these events happen on a big scale.
They used television advertisements, internet based advertising, social media and radio. The message was able to get out of there to all possible spectators that wanted to buy tickets or may have an interest in tennis.
The school games used e-mailing as advertisement to get the word out to the schools across the vale. This can be seen as a downfall as they may not receive or look at their e-mails on a daily basis. No sponsorship was used but Asfordby Amateurs sent out some advertisement to engross children in their football club and reach out to them via the School Games event
-MP
