These quotes are on page 130, chapter 7.
These two quotes show the moment when Gatsby risks everything to show how much he loves Daisy. Gatsby is refusing to see how Daisy could have changed or fell in love with someone else besides himself. Gatsby is tired of living what he would call a lie. He wants to live happily with Daisy away from Tom.  He wants every one to know that Daisy and him love each other.
