The culture indigenous are very important because they are part of the Ecuadorian diversity and become more interesting for our country, if we excluded rejection and ignoring we could not apreciate the natural wealth that it gives us. The culture is part of our origin and the history of natural selection.  It is important because the give us traditions, customs, forms of clothes, food and  the languages.

The indigenous culture is a part of our identity, plurality. Without them our cultural wealth would be poor, besides are it is a part of our historial heritage of our ancestors who left and preserved the culture for us.
One of the most important cultures in Ecuador are Shuar your population is 110,000 inhabitants are located in the provinces of Napo, Pastaza, Morona Santiago, Zamora Chinchipe, Sucumbios, Orellana and on the coast. They use the system slash and burn cultivation. They grow cassava, "papa china", sweet potato, peanut, corn, palm and banana chonta. The Shuar culture has the usual dress, women's dress Shuar is the "karachi" and the man wore a skirt called "itip" a kind of canvas of vertical lines of purple, red, black and white, dyed with vegetables, which are wrapped waist up ankle and is held with a sash.

In our country worth giving importance to indigenous cultures as they form much of our diversity as well as the Shuar indigenous cultures there are many that are of great importannce.
