The Salvation Army provides care for men women and children in seven locations in DFW including: Denton, Arlington, Dallas, and Fort Worth, Irving, Lewisville and Garland.  The Salvation Army also provides care in Ellis and Collin County including Plano and McKinney.  The Nonprofit Organization also provides senior citizen housing in two locations in Fort Worth.

In the event of a tornado, fire, flood or other disaster, Salvation Army is able to provide assistance in: Food Service, Shelter, Emergency financial assistance, Emotional and spiritual care, Donations management, Emergency communications, Disaster case management, Clean-up and reconstruction, andPartnerships .The Salvation Army also is responsible for the organization of the emergency response fire fighters made up of about twenty-five volunteers. After several hours of completing bags with map colors it was taking me longer than anticipated and my hands were cramping very badly.
