The predominant type is frontal rainfall, occurring throughout the year but particularly intense during autumn and winter. Average daily rainfall can reach 10-15mm during wet periods. The mountainous terrain forces warm, moist air from the Atlantic to rise, creating orographic rainfall. Fascinating stuff for our geography lesson, isn't it?]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Good morning, everyone! Here in the Southeast, including London, we experience mainly frontal and convectional rainfall. We have fewer rainy days (around 130-150 per year) compared to the west, with typical daily rainfall of 2-4mm. Summer thunderstorms are common due to convection, while autumn and winter bring more frontal rainfall from Atlantic weather systems. This region is one of the driest in the UK - perfect for our school sports days!]]></description>
