The Serpents Secret is   about a girl named Kiran. After her parents gets [probably] eaten by a rakkhosh two princes come named Neel and Lel,so then they go to find Kiran's parents in The Kingdom Beyond Seven Oceans and Thirteen Rivers ,and later Kiran finds out she is a living princess! In this first book of three, follow Lyra, a wild girl from oxford university,  and her spirit animal (or Dæmon), Pantalaimon, as they travel North to rescue her uncle Asriel from very powerful armored bears who are bribed to stop her uncle form building a bridge to another dimension. She goes on this quest with the help of a strange golden compass that can tell the future and along the way learns she can’t trust anyone.
Philip Pullman can captivate his reader instantly with his way of storytelling. He is a wizard at telling fantasy stories. I gave the book a 5-star rating because it is very fast paced. It was so good it kept me up at night… because I wanted to read more and more!

I rate this book 5/5 stars because it gives you hints at stuff before reavling what was going on and its very suspensfull so it keeps you hooked. In conclusion this is another amazing book by Tui T. When they decide to go on a dangerous quest, Lyra and Will travel back to Will's world (similar to our own) to both find evidence of Will's missing father, and to gather facts about the strange “Dust” that many people fear.

You will have your socks blown off with Philip Pullman’s style of storytelling in this novel. He uses a captivating introduction to invite the reader to read his book. I gave this book a five-star rating because he kept a fast-paced storyline, because there is always some action happening.. I hope you enjoy this book!
