This helps develope the story by explaining how it it Ulrich's land and how he needs to kill Georg Znaeym In order to "keep the peace." This is the part where there was a plot twist in the story. While the author made us think that they will end up killing each other, Ulrich changed his heart upside down asking Georg to be his friend. This shows the Dynamic Character change in the story. Even after they were glaring at each other, hate in their heart, the protagonist, and the antagonist ends up being friends.
