A Day in My life ( 24/02/18 )

This post is a week late but this is definitely one of the days that I will never forget in my life. Last Saturday was my mother's birthday. My family and I decided to celebrate her birthday in a western restaurant as her favourite food is western food. We went to a nearby restaurant in Puchong named Haven's Steakhouse. We booked a room for four so that we can have our own private time. A few minutes later, we brought in the cake that my dad had bought for her which was of her favourite flavour, coffee. So here's the surprise! My dad went out to get something and a few minutes later he came back with a few bags in his hands. In my thinking, I thought the gifts were for my mom but he suddenly called me to him and handed over one of the bags. He told me to open it carefully. To my surprise, I saw a gold bracelet which I have always wanted. What surprised me the most was that my dad got the exact bracelet which I wanted when I have never told him anything about it before. All i did was just ask him for a bracelet about 3 months back but he managed to get the exact one ( as in the picture below ). I cried out of happiness and thanked him way too much. I feel very grateful. Thank you, dad.

My favourite quote ( I WANT, I WILL AND I MUST! )

This has been my favourite quote since I was 14 years old. This quote was not picked from the internet or aspired by anyone but I created this quote by my self. There are a few reasons behind why is this my favourite quote.
I WANT, I WILL AND I MUST. Firstly, if I WANT something, I WILL have to work hard for it and if i will have to work for it then I MUST definitely work for it. Whenever I say or think of this quote, i'll get an adrenaline rush to do the things i've been slacking and delaying on, in other words, to move forward. THis quote has been one of my motivations for the past 7 years and will continue to be till the day i die. Lastly, this quote also has been driving me towards success everytime I fail, it allows me to realise my aim of doing something and why i want to do it and makes me work hard towards my aim. This is why ' I WANT, I WILL AND I MUST ' is and will always be my favourite quote.

A Day in My Life ( 14/03/18 )

Last Wednesday, the Foundation in Science students were told to carry out a fundraising event for charity as a part of the Affective Domain subject. Our class, 12B sold 'Ais Kepal' which is known as the traditional Malaysian ice cream. We also carried out certain activities such as playing darts, BeyBlade ( spinning top ) and also magic tricks performed by one of my good friend, Arslan. Our class were divided into groups based on certain chores such as the runners, promoters, and cashier. On that day, my classmates and I started setting up the stall at around 11. The decoration team started off their job by decorating our booth beautifully and attractively with balloons of various colours. We started opening our booth at around 1pm. People were starting to queue up to buy our 'Ais Kepal'. It was tough to get people to come to our booth as there were many classes competing against us as well such as, 12A,12C,12D and 12E but the group of promoters did their job well by promoting our stall in many ways beit verbally or through social media. Many of the boys enjoyed playing the darts and BeyBlade while a few lecturers like Mr.Eric and Madam Sya were interested in watching the magic show by Arslan. We were all glad that both the lecturers and many studets were amazed by the tricks performed by him. Most of us were already tired by 4pm and we slowly started packing up our things while Zu Chong, the cashierer started counting all the money we collected. To our surprise, we managed to collect around RM660 and gaind a profit of RM380. We were so happy as all og our hardwork and tiredness paid off in the end. I really enjoyed working with this class as everyone was very cooperative and worked well with each other. I look forward to work more with this class in any upcoming projects.

A Day in My Life ( 30/08/16 )

This will be one of my most unforgettable day in my life as thi was when my sweet sixteenth birthday party was held. The thing that makes it even more special is this party was a pre-planned party which was a surprise for me as I only got to know about it towards the date of the party. Initially, I only planned to celebrate it among a small group of my friends and family but somehow as usual my parents always want the best for me. My sister was the head behind this big event as she took the responsibility of inviting my friends and all my family members. My parents took charge of the decoration, food and venue. My sweet 16th was held at Crystal Crown, Petaling Jaya which is about 40 minutes away from Cyberjaya. It was a hi-tea party thus it was held from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. My sister organised many games and activities througout the party. I also had a few surprise performance from my family and friends. My high school friend, Mitra Ganeson performed a tap dance on floor.I was so amazed with her talent as she is a dancer and also my first time watching a live tap dance performance where else my little cousin sister who was only a five- year- old child sang a song for me. I was so touched by her performance, which is also her first time performing in front of a crowd of people. Another highlight of this function was that my whole maternal family came down from Kedah just to attend the party. Words cannot describe how happy I was when I saw their faces. I will never forget this memorable day in my life as it brought so much joy and happiness which also created a stronger bond between my friends and family.

A Day in My Life ( 18/10/17 )

It was during Deepavali. My family and I have a tradition of having an open house annually but for these past few years, we've been fixing a theme colour. As in the picture below, last year's theme colour was orange. Usually, my dad buys the cloth for all the men in my family from India and later then they will stitch it according to how they like. As for the women, they will buy any costume according to the colour fixed. The open house is ususally held on the second or third day after Deepavali. The most exciting part of the whole event will be meeting up with old friends from Kedah and also enjoying the various types of food. The open house starts from 12pm all the way till the evening. Every year it is a must for us to have a whole of roasted lamb as its the highlight of the open house. There will also be food like 'satay' and 'roti jala'. My mom will also cook extra dishes such as her infamous stir fried mutton and also a few vegetraian dishes for those who are vegan. I will always look forward for this day of the year as I get to wear new clothes and also meet my family members. This is the only event that brings all our family members together anually where we share things that happened throughout the year and proceed to playing fireworks at night. Somehow, as the saying goes, all good things come to an end, this memorable event will usually end with a happy note but as usual, I'll be looking forward for this year's Deepavali Open House :)
