Yo era la mayor de las niñas, mi hermana Ana tiene 15 años, y Luz tiene 12. A Ana no le gustaba limpiar mucho, pero lo hacía por que no quería que mama se enojara. Cada una de nosotras limpiaba su propio cuarto. Ana lavaba los trastes después de la cena y lavaba su ropa. Yo barría la cocina y pasaba la aspiradora por la sala y todos los cuartos. Ahi, habia muchos artistas muy talentosos. Habia bailarinas y cantantes. Ahi descubri el flamenco, cual es un baile tradicional en España. También descubrí la música reggaeton, pero no me gusto mucho. Los artistas son talentosos, pero no era mi estilo. También iba al centro comercial. 
Con mi familia los fines de semana eran muy divertidos. Los Sabados, ibamos a la pastelería. Ahí, habían muchos tipos de café y pasteles. Luego íbamos al mercado en donde mi mamá compraba frutas, verduras, y otras cosas que nos hacían falta, como la carne, frijoles, arroz, y mariscos. Los mariscos y el arroz eran para la paella, un plato tradicional en España. Los Domingos íbamos a la florería para llevar rosas a la catedral. Tuve la oportunidad de visitar el Rastro en Madrid, cual es como el mercado de pulgas aquí en Estados Unidos. Ahi habia muchas cosas lindas y baratas. 
Yo vivia en una ciudad asi que mi comunidad era muy grande. In spanish there are several verb conjugations as well as tenses. An example of this would be the preterite. 
The vocabulary is also different. In English we don't have a formal word to address someone besides Mrs./Mr. In Spanish there is the word "usted". It allowed me to work at my own pace and it also made me feel comfortable with my speed of learning. I decided to take the class online because I knew that the spanish teacher at school covered things pretty quickly and I new that would not allow me to grasp new concepts properly. 
I liked that this course had things due weekly and not daily. That way if I got behind, it allowed me to catch up before everything was due. I didn't find anything wrong with the course, as I feel that everything was set up in a way that benefited everyone. 
The projects were the most fun and helpful assignments throughout the course. They not only incorporated each unit's vocabulary, but they allowed us to practice our communication skills and find images that symbolized our learning topics. The speaking assignments also helped me improve my pronunciation. In the future I would put more effort into writing assignments in Spanish and use a lot more detail to improve. 
My teacher was always available to answer any questions I had which really helped me throughout the course.
