America at this time was still ran by the rich (Industrialists). The changes that occurred was that the workers went on strike and caused the rich to start paying more. The outcome was that the rich made cuts and  other rich people raised the pay.

After the deaths of over one hundred workers were caused by the triangle factory fire, people started to create Unions. Unions were used to protect them from poor conditions that could result in injury/death. Also, besides Unions, laws were passed that meant owners of any company were no longer allowed to have conditions so terrible or they would be fined, and in extreme cases closed down. OSHA is the agency that currently regulates that. In the long-run however, that has led to people exporting work to countries like china where the people aren't protected, and can work for a penny a day. People always find a way to get around laws it's just the way the world works.

But during that time no one would dared to complain about any safety, unsanitary, and over crowded condition. The fire department could have also help prevented more death if they had the right equipment to saved those people from jumping to their death. They did not have the right ladder length and the proper net to catch those people when they jump out from the window.

The people who were not valued were the workers and the workers family after they died. They're working conditions were unsafe and unsanitary. On one side, there were a lot of people immigrating to America from different countries. These people needed jobs to afford living in this new country. Industrialists exploited this need by overworking people, and these people needed the money so badly they were afraid to revolt for better conditions. The other side is the side of the industrialists, who sought to make as much money as possible as fast as possible, with no concern to the wellbeing of others.

The company owner where mostly valued in the work places , because they had more money and they where like the best in everyone eyes. The Worker where not valued. People that worked for the rich people faced harsh working conditions and they were barely paid a good amount of money. The Triangle Factor Fire was one of many starts that showed that the workers back then weren't even safe; March 25th of 1911. 146 young ladies and women died in this horrible accident and it came to light that the owners of the building lied about its good conditions; including the one fire escape that eventually collapsed from the women and girls panicking down them and the one elevator, which is obviously not a good idea to use while in this emergency situation.

A survival age were all had to do what they felt was ok or what wasn't safe or hard. But in which they had to do what needed to be done to make money . Unfairly treated under paid and even had working conditions . I believe everyone had it bad during this time just besides the man in charge in which is and was profiting more than anyone he would be the bad guy . The rich was only better than the poor because didn't have to really work for his earnings.
