After the Soviet Union left in 1987 Bin Laden returned home. He was regarded as a hero in the people's eyes but the government saw him as a radical leader that is very dangerous. So they took away his passport and other things to keep him quiet. Saudi Arabia instead of asking arbs or Bin Laden for help asked America which was one of the many reasons why he hated and in the future would attack America.

Bin Laden Organized members of al-Qaeda to attack the World Trade Centers, The White House, and The Pentagon. Which led to the United States Overthrowing the Taliban and causing Bin Laden to hide in Pakistan. There he would hide from the public until 2004 when he taunted the U.S, he continued so up until 2009 when he threatened to attack the U.S again for the deaths of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Then finally on May 2, 2011, U.S troops flew into Pakistan with a helicopter and a seal team shot him. Shortly after the U.S confirmed his death al-Qaeda declare that they would have revenge.

I choose this topic because I have heard a lot about 9/11 and how it was Bin Laden's Fault but I wanted to know why or what lead up to the attacks. I thought it would get more into his childhood and how he was abusive or the U.S did something to him but not much is said. I learned that he attack the United States because in his mind he was in a war with them over religion. My learning changed from Bin Laden doing one big attack that provoked us but really he did lots of attacks on the U.S and 9/11 was just the last straw. Yes, I did enjoy my topic and the Technology.
