One very important principle of the Black Lives Matter movement is the first one: "Restorative justice" What it means is restoring a community for African American lives. For over many centuries, African Americans have been discriminated by white folks. To show that they matter we need to form a nation that will not be segregated, but a nation that will bind black and whites together.

This principle is a significant principle because it is stating that the BLM movement will fight for justice but in a restorative manner indicating that in the course of fighting for Justice throughout the black community they shall not use any violent notions. Instead the BLM movement is going to use a sustainable and respectable strategy were they stand resilient and instead of using violence, using their words to make sure that in this battle for justice the BLM community can stand with pride knowing they are on the right side of history.

It is important since that is what makes the Black Lives Movement so big and inspirational.

2. Being "Unapologetically Black" is how black people are proud to be black and who they are. They also will fight and demand for the right of equality for blacks and everyone as a whole. It is important because black people should not be offended or demoralized for being black. They have to assert their dominance, stance, and message.

One of the core black lives matter guiding principles is Diversity. The diversity principle is "We are committed to acknowledging, respecting, and celebrating difference(s) and commonalities." A lot of places are very diverse meaning that there are a lot of people with races, beliefs, cultures that are accepted respected, and acknowledged.
