Jonas has changed since the beginning of the novel. He had always questioned about things like the apple changing, or the crowd changing, Because he never knew the color red. Or when Asher was playing war. Jonas started having flashbacks to the war memory, which had given him Trauma. He wanted to cry but he kept it in. He tells Asher to not play the game anymore. This shows that Jonas has changed since the beginning of the novel.
