         <description><![CDATA[<div>Free Body Diagram or FBD is a useful concept used in engineering mechanics to allow us to focus the effects of external and internal forces acting on a "body" and finding solutions to unknown forces which we need to apply to achieve a state of equilibrium.<br>A "body" is said to be at equilibrium if the following three conditions are achieved:<br>a) The sum of all horizontal component forces is zero.<br>b) The sum of all vertical components forces is zero.<br>c) The sum of all moments acting on any points on the "body" is zero.<br>Watch this video to understand how a FREE BODY DIAGRAM is drawn.</div>]]></description>
