Zigerone is a organic chemical compound with the formula C11H14O. It is most abundant in the underground section of the ginger plant's stem. Zigerone is responsible for a hot spicy flavor which in urn aid in digestion and increases saliva production. This compound is evidently similar to Isoeugenol from nutmeg. This shows that the common themes of this chapter have striking similarities that connect organic compounds found in Pepper, Nutmeg, and Clovers; which I agree with.

Scurvy is caused by a insufficient amount of Vitamin C. Therefore, this molecule is paramount in everyday diets to keep a healthy lifestyle. Vitamin C received its name because it was the third ever Vitamin discovered. It also without doubt is one of the most important molecules ever discovered.

It also occurs naturally in commonly consumed plants such as spinach and rhubarb. Therefore, it cannot be utilized as a sufficient food source. It serves an extremely important role in some other mammals such as horses, cows, rabbit, small rodents, and a select few insects. However it is still peril in our diet to allow waste to easily pass through our intestines. This is a very versatile compound that aids all mammals in various ways.

It was later found that if a strong enough detonator was wired to the compound it was explosive. It later was applied into french shells in 1885. A common issue with this compound was that misfires were common in wet and rainy conditions.

It is deadly to humans at ~30G and was heavily limited not to effect any mammals. DDT essentially eradicated malaria throughout poised nations. it was sprayed in early 1955 and within 15 years, 1.8 billion people who lived in diseased areas were no longer worried. DDT reduced the cases of malaria in Greece from ~2 million in 1947 to 7 in 1972. This promoted extreme economic prosperity and changed the world forever. Eventually tho bio-accumulation of DDT stuck with devastating effects.
