Nursing homes have a choice of foods.
Most elderly people have health concerns such as prescriptions. Religion and ethnicity have a big role in the food they consume. Income also plays a big role, due to low amount of money most elders find it hard to buy food for themselves. lack of transportation is the last reason. Transportation is an important one because not many elders are fortunate enough to drive to the grocery store and pick up food they like or want.
