My name is Javier Andres Marin Rivas, and I am from Cali, Colombia. I work as a Help Desk support technician, and I am currently studying systems engineering. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and listening to music. Additionally, I am single and do not have any children.

 

Paragraph 2: Description of My Residence

I live in the east of the city of Cali, in the neighborhood known as Pizamos. My house has three floors; however, I live on the first floor with my mother. The exterior of the first floor has white iron bars. Additionally, it has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The first bedroom is located behind the living room, while the second is behind the kitchen. The living room is next to the kitchen, and the backyard is accessible from the kitchen. There is also a front yard where we keep one motorcycle attached to the house.

 

Paragraph 3: Description of My Daily Routine

On weekdays, I wake up at 6:30 am and have breakfast around 7:00 am, which usually consists of bread and coffee. Then, I drive my motorcycle to work, where I have lunch at 12:30 pm depending on my assigned schedule. For dinner, my mother usually prepares rice, lentils, and chicken with mashed potatoes, which is one of my favorite dishes. After work, I usually do my homework or sometimes go out with friends for dinner or drinks. On weekends, I tend to sleep in and have breakfast later, around 9 or 10 am. I also enjoy outdoor activities, such as playing sports. Sometimes, I study English by listening to music and watching videos or series with English subtitles. I try to go to bed around 10 or 11 pm on weekdays, but on weekends, I stay up a bit later if I'm out socializing.

¿Qué aprendí de esta tarea?

8 puntos, aprendí varios temas y otros fueron un repaso como Verb to be, Prepositions. Aprendí a responder sobre mi información personal y también a realizar preguntas del tema, por último, se logro consolidar un texto simple, pero con coherencia en el idioma.

 

¿Es importante lo que estoy aprendiendo? ¿Por qué?

9 puntos, es bastante importante debido a que en mi carrera los sistemas vienen en el idioma global el cual es el inglés. Además, tan solo con aprender el idioma te abre muchas puertas a nuevos conocimientos y experiencias.

 

¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional?

9 puntos, en mi vida personal me aporta a obtener nuevas experiencias positivas, por ejemplo, al estar de viaje o paseo por fuera del país y en mi vida profesional me aporta a obtener nuevas oportunidades por ser un dominador del idioma, además facilitaría el trabajo en mi carrera.
