My name is Cindy and one thing I enjoy doing is traveling, In this picture, I am in Mexico City visiting one of my dream places. All my life I have been wanted to go to Mexico with my family and This day was one of the best days with my family because we were all able to go to Mexico after a long time. Of course, it took my family a while but their hard effort paid off. I am now visiting different parts of Mexico and I am super excited to take more pictures. The forest here is very scary because it gets dark out quickly and the path is full of frogs. I am still young but I know when I'm older I want to travel more and take pictures of the places I visit. I use my travel vacations as my motivation to keep working hard in order to visit those places!

Summary: We start off with the introduction, and soon we learn about our traveler. This chapter is the only chapter we learn about Chris, Soon we figure about how others called him Alex McCandless, from there we know he met many people throughout his journey, and soon they will be interviewed for this story that we are reading right now. During the Fairbanks, we know that Alex is barely beginning his joruney after leaving his family behind and not letting them know where he is going. In the Fairbanks, we are told about the troopers and how they somehow have to do with the Fairbanks. In Chris's journey, we know about the highways and how Alex has marked them in his map and throughout how he is marking everything. Soon we hear about the protesters who speak about Chris after his death and how they say one thing then the next especially when it comes to saying why he did it and what he meant when he wrote in the letters. In the newspaper, they call Alex is a hitchhiker and how he went throughout his journey but in the beginning, they don't say much about his family but maybe we will learn about his family.

Analysis: If I were Chris aka Alex I would never go on this journey because of how dangerous it is especially when it comes to being alone and not letting your family know where you are staying or heading to.

hashtags: #ChrisMcandless #Traveler #ALEX #Alaska

Summary: We learn about Alex McCandless and how people come forward about learning about his death, soon we hear how the story is getting put together from all the people who know or met Alex McCandless throughout his journey or their journey. One of the people was an 80-year-old man who took Alex in and look after him like his own. The people who knew Alex wanted to add to the magazine. Mant has met him on the river bays and mentioned how good of a boy he was but how he was also a quiet one. Soon later on in the chapter, we are told about the bajada and how Alex has something to do within especially when visiting and staying for a while when meeting new people. Salton sea is another important place when it comes to saying where most people met Alex from there we know a bit more of Alex and what other stuff he had plan for his journey.

Analysis: If I have met Alex or had a chance to speak to him I would've asked more questions and most likely done what the others have done given him advise or let them know how Alex was.

Hashtags: #TookIn #Magazine #SaltonSea #Mcandless #Mr.Franz

Summary: "Carthage" (pg. 62) after speaking to other people who knew Chris we witnessed how others had beliefs (pg 67) about him and we hear how they describe him, one of the people they interviewed known as a close friends mom said that even though she only met him for a few it still hurt her a lot due to knowing what he told her. Now we are mentioned the leather belt (Pg: 68) and how they have read it over and over. When it came to MCandless family (PG 64) we hear about Alex aka Chris said he didn't want to hear from his parents anymore and he told all of this to his little sister. Communication (PG 69) was another espeicaly when Chris did speak to his little sister bout it but another thing is when he was talking to close friends but stayed quite in the same time.

Analysis: If I were Chris's little sister I would've given him advice or ask him why but from there we don't know Carine was sure why Chris wanted to leave.

Summary: Within this chapter, we hear about how people write about Chris with words saying, "abandoned his family" (PG 71) and others had other opinions on what Alex did. There is so much being said for example how said on page 77, "The wind, the snow, and death" as described as his companions. We hear about how there were many crying and missing Alex. Others wish they gave him more advice before saying their goodbye. In the chapter, we introduce to Ruth Glacier and Rosellini and how they have to do with the chapter. and how they are on a search on page 79, "I won't be seeing you again" this is where the investigation begins for what exactly happened and this is where the team heads to Alaska (page: 70). Another person we are introduced to is Waterman who was unhelmed by the loss on page 72.

Analysis: If I were to investigate for Chris McCandless I would make sure to get as many as answers from the family and people Alex has met throughout his journey I will also get the highest team of each to make sure to get every lab and really know what happened on the scene.

Summary: In Chapter 10 we hear about how they are trying to figure out Chris's Body and seeing who are his family or friends. Little by little they figure out who Chris is with his real name since there was so much misleading information, for example, Chris Or Alex which is his real name. When Chris's body was found he was wearing a blue shirt that said Santa Barbara how said on a page. 99 later on the chapter we see how some of Chris's friends recognize him from the story or radio and they end up calling saying they know Chris, for example, Gallien ends up calling and the police officers see how the chapter says Gallien aka Rabbit day on pg. 99. When claiming to know the young adult they had to check the social security pg.100-101 when he applied to jobs. Also saying how this all swamped up how said in pg. 100 since everything is falling into place like a puzzle. Westberg recalls how he remembers showing around in the fairbanks pg. 101.

Analysis: If I were the one to make the phone call saying I knew Chris If I did know him I just wouldn't know what to say and how to respond to what is happening in this situation. After knowing and finding Chris's Body his family discovers a bit more about the situation to be a bit more detailed they mention that his body was found in a blue sleeping bag how mentioned in pg. 104 which was made by Billie a relative of Chris. Within the chapter, we learn a bit more about Chris's father and how he grew up in Colorado pg. 105 Soon his father speaks about how there was different locations one of them being Tucson for three years pg. 106, we hear about how Billie and Walt and how they were struggling and how things were getting difficult especially with money, all said in pg. 107, with that being said they finally speak about Chris's Childhood and how they taught him so many things one of the lines used was "Chris had so much natural talent" on page 111. After speaking about Chris's young life hood they mention his teenage years to his outstanding "work" on page 116.

Analysis: If I were the one to speak to Chris's dad there would be so many more questions and I would obse4rve the facial expressions made with that being said Chris was a very hard working person and had so many talents and skills till we hear more about Chris with his other family members in the next chapter.

Hashtags: #56yrsOld #BlueSleepingBag # Colorado #Woodson #TranscontinentalAdventures

Summary: Within the chapter we hear a bit more about Chris's childhood and from there we speak About how it might've been different if Buck pg. 127 was there with Chris, maybe it would've have been different how said on page 128. maybe Chris life wouldn't be on risk. More on the chapter we learn a bit more about Carine and what type of person she is, how said on page 129 she is energetic and self assured with a high achiever and very quick type of person to state an opinion. They soon start comparing some old pictures they have of Chris and Carine including childhood ones. on page 129 we are told about ten months has passed and Carine still grives deeply for her brother. Slowly int he chapter you can tell how much his family cared about Chris but this chapter most talks about how much Carine cared about Chris more like if we were interviewing Carine. On pg. 130 they mention Chris and Carine just breaks down saying chris isn't death and she just keeps denying it.

Analysis: If I was the one who had to tell Carine about her brother I wouldn't know what to say either because they are family members and siblings too. This chapter was very sad and touching that completes the analysis for this chapter.

Hashtags: #Buck #CarineMcCandless # Adolescent # TenMonths #puzzlement

Within those words we remember Chris. Later on in the chapter the author says McCandless death was unplanned pg. 134. But in jon's situation he planned to go for only 3 weeks how said in pg 140. in the words, "I had planned on spending three weeks and a month on stikine Ice cap. Which in CHris McCandless he just went into the wild not knowing what would happen next.

Anaylsis: If I were Jon which is the writer of the book I would've added more pictures or more side notes while writing the book but I do enjoy how he writes about his opinion also his journey and how there are some similar things that somehow relate to McCandless Journey.

Hashtags: #Jon #Alaska #3weeks #Snow #Colorado #intothewildQuote.

We also learn that he wasn't a strong swimmer when it came to the river. Later on in time we see how if he had a map he could've had seen the Teklanika pg. 174. We hear about how Jon says he went to visit the bus with his companions pg 175, they speak about how Chris ate fruit and ate what he killed where Jon's companions said that Chris could'nt tell the difference between a caribou pg 177 or a moose. On July 30th on pg. 189 After doing the research we see how he just speaks and continues his wild life but in the chapter it says that August 19th he is dead pg. 189 by then because of how is health was. During the chapter we see how they mention sweet peas and there are many reasons that are saying how it might've killed Chris on pg. 191. throughout the chapter we are told about what he did in order to surive hwo said like eaten dozens of of wild potatos pg. 192.

Analysis: After reading the chapter we see how Chris tried his best to live on the wild live but soon our main character goes down but we are told about his journal which gives us detail about what he did.

Hashtags: #potatos #journal #August19th # WildLife #ToxicOrPoison?

Summary: Before they finish off the chapter they add an Epilogue speaking about the McCandless parents, where we are mentioned about Billie pg. 201 where they went to see thebus and in the inside. They took a helicopter pg. 201 all last minute as the trip Before leaving they left a suitcase pg. 202 with food a Bible and a note etc for other people who find it. While Walt and Chris's dad walk around they speak abot how people admire pg. 203 Chris for having the courage for what he did but Chris dad didn't feel the same and said only if he survived he would admire it but this wasn't the case. At the end of it all McCandless final words were "it's going to be harder every day for the rest of their lives" pg. 203 something like that.

Analysis: After reading this it made me think about Chris parents and how, I believe they shoudl've said some words for Chris so it could've been mentioned in the chapter, maybe even a speech said on tv for others.

Hashtags: #SuitCaseWasLeftBehind #RestOfTheirLives #Note #HelicopterTrip #McCandlessFamily

Chris was a young traveler, being in the wilderness (paragraph 1) we speak about what he lived on as food. Our question how said on (paragraph 2) "What exactly did him in? Within the article we see how it speaks about how the author believes Might've died another way, referring back to his Dairy we see how Jon mentions, "Extremely weak" (paragraph, 4) Later on we hear about how Jon started working with potatoes testing it for something called, "Beta-ODAP" (paragraph 6) in the end of it all we see how Jon says, "The real lesson people should take away from this".

My favorite thing is to explore new places even if they are not leaving the state. I don't have many chances to travel due to time, But it's always good once in a while to leave the state to go to another or go to a new country! Adding on to exploring new locations I love taking pictures of my journey to keep as memories as if I were crossing off my list. The best part is getting yummy food after a long day, some of my favorites are desserts, spicy food, or maybe something I never heard of! It's always interesting and suspenseful when trying something new because you never know what to expect? As I go on with my favorite things to do I always write about it and sometimes even print out the pictures at CVS or Walgreens. Postcards are always another good choice because most of the time they have different designs with bright and big letters of the location it's always cool to collect them along the way. Looking back at those days it always brings a smile on my face and I want to continue exploring new places one main place I plan to visit is Japan or France because I want to learn more about those locations and their culture, food, traditions, music, etc. When I have the chance and the blessing I will try my best to visit these places!

Comparing this to Chris I believe he wanted to do his own stuff and wanted to try something new and from that, it was going into the wilderness alone and living off wild animals, obviously, I don't know if he had any training skills because it didn't really speak about that during the book. On the cover of the story you can see Chris liked to take pictures as well because he took several pictures of his journey and just like me he wrote down his journey in detail and I never know if he looks back at his writing and changes anything or not. But after reading this story I believe Chris and I have very few things in common.

#PostCards #TakePicturesOnTheGo #ExploreNewPlaces #PlanAheadOfTime #ILikeYummyFood

Throughout the story my thoughts about Chris has been changing every now and then. For example with some choices he have made and some paths he took. Not letting others know about him and what he was going through. But in the end of the all we know that Chris died at such a young age. There are somethings that make him a kind hearted person and some moments where we just wish we could give him advice.

THE GOOD: He made friends and always had a nice conversation with them. He donated money 24,000 dollars to be exact. He didn't cause big drama towards his family when he found out about what his dad has done. Which allows knowing he wasn't the type to do such a thing. He sent postcards to his friends when arrived at his location.

THE BAD: There are so many things Chris could've changed and second thought about. I believe he could've had different plans instead of wandering off to the wild. He would such his friends out from his problems and try his best to cut off friendships when they kept asking about his past and why he was doing this in the beginning.

My reflection overall I am at the middle between all of this but Chris is now resting and will never be forgotten. There are some things that may have triggered us readers but at least now we know to check up on friends and others because you neve rknow what is going though ones mind.

Hashtags: #R.I.P #MyReflection #Donated24k #Alaska #IntoTheWild
