This is a "Padlet" that explain the differences between weight and mass, why you weigh more or less on certain types of planets or stars, and why different planets have different gravitational pulls.

Well to start off, weight and mass are completely different things. Mass is the amount of matter an object has while weight is a force exerted on an object. Lets say you go into a different planet for an odd reason, your mass does not get affected but the force exerting on you will causing you to feel more heavy or light.

Why Does Weight Change On Different Planets?

As said earlier, when traveling to a different planet, mass does not change but weight does. But Why? Each different planet or moon has different gravitational pulls. If you were to go on Jupiter, you would weigh more due to Jupiter having more gravity than Earth which will exert more on you but on Mars, you would weigh less due to there being less gravity.

Planets have different gravitational pulls because of its different size and mass. Explained in one of the videos we were supposed to watch in the HyperDoc, The larger your mass, the stronger your gravitational pull is.
