When the great comet hit the Earth, her helplessness and calmness are not from fear, unlike her sister. I feel a sense of emptiness in her. She's more like an appendant to emotions, putting her hopes on other people. This kind of hope is the light that supports her and also the rope that entangles and drags her down in the quagmire, chaining her down in the abyss. She needs to deceive herself with lies, and her whole life is probably built on self-deception. She's like a dangerous building. Strong winds from outside can hurt her, and when people try to get close to her, they are also hurt. She trusts someone she doesn't really know and believes them about the expiration date of timber. The planet Melancholia is more like an object that connects them. Under the context of this star, anything looks tiny and meaningless. The ending is not to be changed. 

This feeling of feeling the world through the lens of depression fascinates me, whether the world in my eyes is very different from that of others, and whether others will feel the same way if I express them. I tried to use the techniques in the movie, by changing the filter, changing the color of the face and adding music to render the experiment in my eyes.

What have I seen through these eyes, the birth of life, and the end of life. This extreme contrast has always existed, life and death, hope and despair. How to express this experience through works has aroused my thinking.

The search for self is never limited to what one is going to become. The past is equally important. His childhood life is covered by intermittent lines, which shows his life experience in his own way. A child looks very calm when he shows his childhood misfortune with a brush. Pieces of paper are framed and hung on the blank wall, as if all these have gone away from him. But the contents are a constant reminder of what happened.

In fact, I have many emotions about childhood but I find it difficult to say. Through his works, I feel that we have the ability to express anything. My childhood is not unfortunate but full of regret, and I want to depict my childhood through sculpture.

Richard Tuttle is an influential contemporary American artist. Working across media and disciplines, his works are characterized by their thoughtful subtlety. Tuttle’s compositions are formed through the carefully considered relationships between form, color, and material, generating a universe of intimate connections bridging the gaps between art, life, and thought. “If you’re going to be a visual artist, then there has to be something in the work that accounts for the possibility of the invisible, the opposite of the visual experience,” he has said. “A painting or a sculpture really exists somewhere between itself, what it is, and what it is not—you know, the very thing. Vivian Dorothy Maier (February 1, 1926 – April 21, 2009) was an American street photographer whose work was discovered and recognized after her death. She worked for about 40 years as a nanny, mostly in Chicago's North Shore, while pursuing photography. She took more than 150,000 photographs during her lifetime, primarily of the people and architecture of Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles, although she also traveled and photographed worldwide.

During her lifetime, Maier's photographs were unknown and unpublished; many of her negatives were never developed. A Chicago collector, John Maloof, acquired some of Maier's photos in 2007, while two other Chicago-based collectors, Ron Slattery and Randy Prow, also found some of Maier's prints and negatives in her boxes and suitcases around the same time. Maier's photographs were first published on the Internet in July 2008, by Slattery, but the work received little response.In October 2009, Maloof linked his blog to a selection of Maier's photographs on the image-sharing website Flickr, and the results went viral, with thousands of people expressing interest. Maier's work subsequently attracted critical acclaim, and since then, Maier's photographs have been exhibited around the world.

Her life and work have been the subject of books and documentary films, including the film Finding Vivian Maier (2013), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival,^[7 and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 87th Academy Awards
