Professionalism also involves the potential of working collaboratively with support and guidance, demonstrating effective communication and a commitment to developing processes and purposeful practice to support your journey and in turn your assessment requirements.

Throughout this assessment, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of professionalism by showcasing your ability to plan your work, manage your time efficiently, and maintain a safe working environment, all while developing key techniques and performance skills. Reflecting on your process will allow you to identify areas of strength and areas that require further development in order to enhance your professionalism in music and musical outputs.

 LO2 - Techniques: Demonstrate independent practice and preparation, e.g. knowledge, use of systems, skills, technology and methods.

Techniques play a crucial role in the production of music. This learning outcome focuses on your ability to independently practice and prepare, utilising relevant knowledge, systems, skills, technology, and methods. It emphasises the necessity of acquiring tools and honing your abilities to achieve optimal outcomes - all outcomes set by you in relation to the assessment brief, so be sure to understand the requirements from the get go!

Throughout this assessment, you will be expected to demonstrate your independent practice and preparationby showcasing your knowledge of relevant musical concepts, proficiency in using technology and systems, and the application of specific techniquesleading to your musical output for this term.

Your ability to adapt and employ appropriate methods to solve musical challenges will be assessed, showcasing your competence in utilising diverse resources effectively.

LO3 - Performance: Identify relevant performance skills, processes and methods to ensure competent musical outputs.

The third learning outcome, performance, focuses on the critical aspects of delivering competent musical outputs. It involves identifying and applying relevant performance skills, evidencing the processes involved in creating successful musical performances (showing us the journey to realisation), and employing effective methods to ensure the best results in your final submission and musical output overall.

Throughout this assessment, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of performance skills, processes, and methods by identifying and applying the necessary elements to achieve competent musical outputs - this will be evidenced weekly through your multi-media journaling. Reflecting on your performance and technical development throughout (with supportive evidence) the term and for your final performance will enable you to evaluate your strengths and areas for improvement, allowing you to refine and enhance your musical abilities.

It means that I have a robust way of keeping up with current changes in technology, trends, mindset and technical ability.

What challenges might you face when completing your coursework for this assessed module?

I may face challenges that look like abilities that I may not have, I have never really documented my process so thoroughly with video evidence or taking notes on my experience and technique. I do save presets so I can go back to them but I also recreate these a lot so I may have an advantage there. I will also need to be aware of everything that's going on with being taught and becoming more knowledgable in various subject areas.

Whereabouts on the mindset scale do you land?

I have always been skeptical about perceiving ability through a fixed setting, I feel that there's always room for growth in any subject. I will say that I have a Growth Mindset that is unaware of my potential.
