Second Term - Preparing my trip ! MALTA

The destination I chose to study is Malta, a state of southern Europe, made up of islands in the center of the Mediterranean Sea, about 90 km from Sicily (Italy).

As an official language, Malta has two languages: Maltese and English, so I would have the opportunity to not only learn a language but also two languages at a time.

In Malta the standard of living is lower than in Ireland and the United Kingdom, so studying English there is cheaper than doing it in the other two countries, because their standard of living is more expensive. Malta also has an excellent climate since it is close to Africa and south of the European Union.

The best option since I do not have family there, is a course and accommodation packages for 6 months that is approximately 5300 euros; This package includes a student residence near the institute of languages, food and basic accommodation services.

Due to its location and weather, the vast majority of the year is clear and hot, so I would wear some dresses, sandals, comfortable shoes, shirts and jeans, since I can only carry a 23 kilogram suitcase.

It is advisable to travel before the summer starts (April and October) as the tickets increase considerably. In April the tickets from Bogota to Malta have an approximate value of $ 3,500.00 round trip time for the duration of the course.

I want to know Malta, its history since it is full of old buildings and towns that seem to live in another dimension. Also some tourist sites declared World Heritage by UNESCO as Valletta, the megalithic temples and the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum

Friends, family and university colleagues have recommended me malta as an excellent option to learn English because of its low quality of life.
