My reflection of unit 1 helped me to learn about an online interactive tool that is Nearpod. This tool offers multiple features like quiz, poll, videos and an interactive whiteboard and students can share their learning with their peers through peer learning by sharing the link . This helped to create an enhance engaging learning environment through constructivism.. The information related to topic was presented in an organized way that helped to manage cognitive load through connectivism. The appropriate use of technology helped students to develop 21st century skills like collaboration and critical thinking while attempting quiz and sharing knowledge with watch other.

1) During my observation with experienced practitioner, I noticed that the use of video display and online spin wheel game kept students engaged and motivated. They were attentive and eager to answer. The use of Padlet wall for collaborative activity boosted their confidence and allowed them to socialize and communicate with their peers.

Online Spin Wheel game incorporated with Eyris (features )

It enhanced cognitive and critical thinking

skills. Students were able to spin wheel and name each picture. They got feedback from teachers and peers on spot.

Padllet wall:

It enhanced students abilities to socialize and communicate as well as reflect and comment on each other's work. The were being provided with feedback on the spot.

These incorporated digital tools enhanced creativity, critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication and digital literacy of the students.

An environment of cognitivism, social constructivism was observed during this lesson.

I observed that multimedia was used to enhance:

Student’s engagement by presenting series circuit.

Assessment of learning by presenting quiz Hands on activity by presenting online circuit making activity.

Collaboration as students worked in pairs and did the worksheet by writing their observation.

I also observed that teachers use multimedia for creative writing tasks by presenting Google doc and use it for shared writing and students instantly see their suggestion there and give suggestions for improvement. Social constructivism and connectivism was applied there. I can use multimedia for enhancing students engagement and for creative writing tasks.

Google slides: It promotes 21st century skills like collaboration, communication, critical thinking. Connectivism and social constructivism theory is applied in it.

Kahoot: It promotes critical thinking and problem solving.

Padlet: Collaboration, Communication, and critical thinking is enhanced. Feedback can be given on each other's work. It is a source of formative assessment too.

Creativity and collaboration is enhanced using Google slides and Padlet are used in the lesson.
