Take syringe out of its package
2. Hold the syringe in the middle like a pen. Once the needle cover is off do not let anything including your fingers touch the needle. If accidentally touched, throw out syringe and grab a new one.
3. Check the syringe for air bubbles.  If there are air bubbles, point syringe face upwards and gently tap to cause air bubbles to rise up. Once they rise up, slowly and carefully push out air.
4. Take one Mosquito Be Gone! sterilization pad and with firm pressure clean the skin of the injection site (outer portion or upper arm). Start in the center of injection site and move outwards in circular motions. Let skin dry before injection.
5. Hold the syringe in the hand you will use to give the injection. Hold it like you would a pen or a pencil when you are ready to write. Use your other hand to pinch a fold of skin at the injection site.
6. In one quick motion, insert needle into skin in a 90 degree (straight up and down) angle. Do not place your finger on the plunger (thing you push to insert medicine) yet.
7. After needle is inserted, let go of skin and use thumb to slowly push plunger down to insert medication.
8. When the syringe is empty, pull it straight out of skin and cover injection site with cotton ball and hold firmly for several seconds.
9. Carefully put the needle cover back on needle until you hear a click. Be careful not to prick yourself with needle while doing this.
10. Dispose of needle in needle disposal bags provided in the Mosquito Be Gone! Kit.
11.
