I believe that GMO is completely safe and is actually beneficial. Some benefits include avoiding food shortages, a continuous abundance of crops even in a drought, and It is also financially befits farmers and consumers.
  Drought is a big issue to farmers due to a water shortage and certain crops can't survive the heat. GMO seems to decrease the severity of this issue. GMO provides a continuous abundance of a particular crop past its grow season and through a drought.
  GMO can both financially benefit both a producer and a consumer, this is due to the mass and consistent production of crops. This in turn provides a consistent income for farmers and a lower price for consumers. This also can provide year round access to fresh crops.
   GMO could be the future of mass production food and if on a large scale can be a asset of food drives and be used in country where food shortages a huge issue. There is no evidence to say that GMO is connected to any health issues. In conclusion GMO is a useful and completely safe asset of mass production.

The government has said that the GMOs were safe but, adults and children has developed food allergies . For some people who have gotten food allergies from GMO's can be deadly. Food allergies are normally caused by a certain chemical or ingredient but people are over looking GMOs. 

Pesticides are very harmful to animals and humans. While pesticides are good for keeping insects off crops these chemicals stay on these foods that you spray it on. These chemicals could make people sick are could even kill someone. GMOS are harmful to people. 

These are some reasons why GMOs are dangerous to people and food. We should not keep modifying our foods. In addition, GMOs prevent waste and allows more fresh produce. Waste happens everyday, but when we have GMOs, it will decrease and become less a problem. GMO product can be helpful in many ways. 

However, it said in the passage that some critics caution the GMO products pose health risks. They also worry that they have a low nutritional value and may become non-beneficial, but they are not sure, so that is good news.
