My artwork shows of a merlion, a calendar, anti-drug ribbons and hands which form an anti-drug montage sketch on the theme of “Building Tomorrow’s #Drugfreesg Together”.

-The emphasis is the merlion as it is quite big and will be coloured in bright colours as opposed to the other elements in duller colours.

-I have cropped all the elements- the merlion, calendar, anti-drug ribbons and hands to make my layout more interesting.

-Examples of overlapping include the merlion overlapping the calendar and the ribbons overlapping the hands. The hands and ribbons have been repeated to show the “togetherness” to spread this anti-drug movement.

The slogan is at the bottom of the sketch, away from the picture so that it will not be too messy.

Artist statement : the SLOGAN is building tomorrow’s #drug-free Singapore together .

Our sketch is about making a #drug-free Singapore and working together to make a #drug-free tomorrow and complete our goals we also added Singapore’s outline and parts of it to represent that we have racial harmony in Singapore ! We also added august to represent our nation as one ! We also added people dressed in different cultures and saying SG 60 which looks like SG GO! We also added a lot of #drug-free ribbons in the background!

This artwork is about building a drug free environment in Singapore. We used the merlion, a symbol of Singapore, as the emphasis.

We used the calendar, to represent tomorrow, which was May 16, Drug victims remembrance day.

The sea will be made of drug free ribbons, and we have a group of people holding hands, representing together.

Our slogan is “ Building Tomorrow's #Drug Free SG Together “ .

Our artwork includes a Merlion, fireworks and objects that represent singapore which form an anti-drug montage sketch on the theme of “Building Tomorrow’s #Drugfreesg Together” .

-The emphasis is the Merlion as it represents Singapore’s history and identity

-We have cropped the ferris wheel as the MBS building is blocking it.

-We have overlapped the sun since the Singapore flag is infront.

The emphasis is the lungs because it is the biggest and it is in the middle of the artwork.

The merlion is overlapping the lungs and the anti-drug ribbon is cropped. The soil, the flowers and the tree are repeated.

The drug-free ribbon shows emphasis and after the template,we will put colours during the final drawing.

Since we are making it 3D we will use clay,coloured paper ,paint ,markers and string

The most important part of my artworks is the people

And, the rainbow coming out of the Merlion’s mouth is a colourful rainbow. It represents happiness to me.(So as the Merlion and the people in the background)

The curved lines means that that the people are happy 😃. Which is a good thing.

I chose bright colours because they are used to make people as happy as the sun. Plus, they are for positive and happy people.

The piece was inspired by my craft when I am happy. I used to draw happy and imaginative things to make it more interesting.

The mood I wanted to share excitement and happiness because we are all happy that drugs don’t exist anymore .

The message I wanted to share is STOP eating drugs so that Singapore will have a happy long life and other countries will follow.

The artwork is kinda like National day, because everyone is celebrating #Drug free SG . We hope this will happen in the future 😃

We drew a national flag and a merlion to represent singapore.

There are many people working together to make signboards to show that singapore is a drug-free country. The signboards are trying to convey a message — Do not take drugs.

At the side, there is someone addicted to drugs, trying to influence others to take drugs too. There is one boy that the drug addicts are trying to influence. He does not know whether he should take drugs or not.

The main idea of this artwork is that singapore should be a drug-free country and everyone has to play a part into making singapore a drug-free country.

The theme is #drugfree and together/togetherness

My emphasis are the drugs outside of the calendar since you can see it very easily.

I made some materials different sizes because otherwise it would look all the same.

I also overlapped some drawings or the things would look all out of the place.

The slogan is under the calendar so that it wouldn’t look so messy.

This artwork represents our feelings about Singapore. The artwork includes two Merlion of different styles, a Ferris wheel, fireworks and some other stuff that represents Singapore or drug free sg. The main emphasis is the Merlion as it is the biggest item in the drawing. The Marina Bay Sand overlaps the ferries wheel. The leaves are added to represent Singapore’s greenery. The theme is Building Tomorrows #Drugfreesg Together. 🇸🇬

Our artwork is about drug-free.The title of this artwork is “be free from drugs” The Emphasis of this artwork is a dragon named Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon (HTTYD).

The reason why we drawn this dragon is because me and my sister(Rithuwana) is a huge fan of How to train your dragon movies. The whole story of the franchise is so amazing! even the new live action movie was the best movie ever!!!

Me and my sister is planning to add iconic Singapore things like Merlion,Singapore National Gallery,durian etc.
