How I used to teach and how I do it now

I thought that making lists was the best thing to do when facing new vocabulary. However, it is the most boring thing to do, right? Due to experience, I've learnt that there are tons of ways to present new vocabulary to students, and the chosen strategy should fit the class context and characteristics. For instance, if I have a highly motivates class who enjoys moving all the time, working with TPR would be the best strategy for them. However, if I have a group who is into writing and drawing, probably creating flashcards would be more attactive for them rather than playing a gestures game.
