Self-care can be as simple as savoring a hot cup of your favorite tea to unwind after a long day. Self-care is personal and can look different to many people. There truly isn't a right or wrong way when it comes to implementing self-care. I struggled with self-care after becoming a mother and trying to find time for myself, but I started to see the importance of doing small things again for myself so that I could start filling up my cup again, because my mental health depended on it. Now I make sure to listen to my body and make time for myself, which is now a non-negotiable for me.
