The session began with a brief theoretical introduction, in which we gained a better understanding of what constitutes transgressive behavior. We discussed the characteristics of racism and discrimination, and how these concepts are statistically based and embedded in structural systems. Also presented was the Wheel of Power, which I had previously seen in a session in Brussels.

We then did an exercise using the 'pyramid of hate'. We each had to share a personal example of discrimination, racism or transgressive behavior that we had experienced or seen, and then move to the appropriate place in the pyramid depending on where we thought the example belonged.

This exercise was confronting for me because it became clear that everyone does have a story. My expectations of the session were different, but nevertheless, I found it a very valuable experience and definitely take away useful insights.

Lack of social support – Many feel isolated from family and community.

Fear of judgment – This prevents them from seeking help.She highlighted the need for awareness, safe spaces, and psychological support to help them feel accepted and supported.

Challenges: 1. Limited resources – Few centers and trained staff for proper rehabilitation.2. Social stigma – Communities often judge these youths, making reintegration hard.3. Lack of long-term programs – Not enough support after they leave the system.

Opportunities:1. Education and skill-building – Programs to teach useful skills for the future.2. Family and community involvement – Helping families support their children.3. Collaboration between institutions – Schools, social workers, and justice centers working together.

These efforts aim to give young people a second chance and prevent future issues.
