Throughout the duration of our nature study, I observed the area around my plot undergo the transition from a winter landscape to the full green vegetation of spring. I also learned about how different species of life emerge during the winter/spring months. I watched the pond where my plot was come alive with different species of life. It was like watching the world around me explode into spring. I also learned about how fish lay eggs and then protect them until they become fry. Frogs, on the other hand, lay their eggs and leave them be. I learned about different cloud types and what types of weather follow after them. Finally, I learned how Crayfish carry their eggs around before they hatch. They keep the eggs on the underside of their tail to help keep them safe. -The blossoms bloomed very quickly.
-The fuzz on the pusy willow tree did not stay for very long.
-Some pusy willow trees live in swapyish places
-If you cut off a pusy willow branch it will turn a brown, but if you don't the rest of the tree will stay a grayish color.
