i think Singapore is in a very sticky situation and that both banning the film and allowing the film to be shown will have drastic diplomatic consequences. However, in light of ASEAN’s ideology of not stepping into others’ businesses and to maintain strong ties with China, a major trade partner, Singapore should allow the film to be screened without making an official statement UwU
