We won't choose keynote for this group of learners. Although the content of the textbook is very well organized to satisfy the needs of intermediate learners, TED talk may seem a little too difficult for A2 learners to follow. In addition, most of the units are pedagogic tasks and lacks real world tasks.

We will choose this course book(keynote) for students from elementary level to intermediate one. Reasons are follows: (1) materials go beyond a four skills approach to acquisition; (2) leaners can use it outside the classroom; (3) foster language skills; (4) it is appropriate for different level students; (5) mainly focus on development of communicative competence; (6) every topic chosen from the real world, which presents concerns with history, human values and culture.

We will not choose this textbook because this may be beyond the learners' lang proficiency, age level and cultural background. Topics like robotics and environment may be not so comprehensible for learners at this stage.

We will choose the keynote text for L2 learning. After evaluation, we find out that it contains all kinds of information, and students are encouraged to seek language samples outside the classroom. Besides, it also targets at the teenager students

we wouldn’t choose the 21st century communication book. The reasons as follow; Too general. It is not real-world language. ( perhaps)Themes are complicated for elementary students.

What is good about this textbook is that the combination of different organisational framework.

Inspirational enough for improving critical thinking which is important for language acquisition.

we will choose this textbook, because it contains attractive materials, such as charts, photos and corresponding videos, all of which can draw the attention of students. Furthermore , it is also task-based and contains abundant group activities that can help students to improve their communicative competence. It's inappropriate for A2 learners because: the vocabulary is high-demand, the topics are too abstract and not closely related to their lives, agreeing and disagreeing is a complex concept, etc.

Keynote- We will not choose this textbook. The reasons are as follows: firstly, the themes in this textbook are not really related to students’ lives. Secondly, it seems this textbook has put too much information on the same page, which can cause stress. Thirdly, most of the activities are focusing on the forms, rather than communicative needs.

We agree to choose this textbook.

Because it has language samples outside the textbook and outside the classroom. We think it is suitable for junior high school students. The content is easy and interesting for that level. This book also include some realistic language samples such as music preferences. The context is also sufficient to convey the meaning. The textbook has both short-term goals and long-term goals. The textbook contains a lot of photos and diagrams which could be attractive to teenage learners.
