Ovulation - Fertilization

Ovulation, is when the ovary releases a infertile egg into the fallopian tube. The egg then starts to move through the fallopian tube where the sperm will meet with it before the turn of the fallopian tube. The egg will meet with the sperm and become fertilized(then called a Zygote) and only one sperm can fertilize the egg.

Blastocyst

blastocyst, it forms about five to six days after a sperm fertilizes an egg. Layers of cells in the blastocyst divide and separate.

Implantation

Implantation, is when (6-7 days) after Ovulation, the process by which the embryo attaches to the endometrial surface of the uterus and invades the epithelium and then the maternal circulation to form the placenta.
