when I first saw the cartoon I thought it was relatible because most students seem to get distracted by things that dont really matter and it seems to get more important to get the next best thing rather than look at a book that you have to do for a class and toss iy aside . making indistries like gaming companies grow strnger and people loose sight over learning

The author is trying to communicate that people should fined a balance between social media and education. People tend to think that social media distractions are more important than their education.

I believe this image is an effective way to to communicate this message because it shows how distractions can become more overwhelming than education. The most misleading part was how they made the cartoon. At first I thought it was trying to communicate that education is less concerning than social media. The SOCIAL MEDIA guy was effective because I could tell by comparing the SOCIAL MEDIA guy and the formal education guy.

in the picture most eyes were drawn to the big social media man which represents all of the distractions a student may go through , and then later noticed other detail as the education was smaller and looked weaker like it was trying to bring the kid back because not very many students believe that education rules over distractions
