         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hello everyone, my name is Raymond Zhang, and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself.<br><br>I am a third-year student at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), studying in the SDS (Social Sciences) program. I am fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.<br><br>I hold certifications in First Aid and AED CPR, which enable me to provide necessary assistance in emergency situations. Additionally, I have been a member of the Hong Kong Rugby 7s and 15s representative teams, which has fostered my teamwork skills.<br><br>During my time at school, I actively participate in inter-school athletics, rugby, and badminton, achieving notable results. I am not only eager to learn but also diligent, adaptable, and capable of handling challenges.<br><br>Furthermore, I am actively engaged in community volunteer activities and pursue education in various fields. I have obtained the Lingnan University Aging Technology Specialist Certificate and Social Entrepreneurship Certificate, as well as the HKU FinTech Course Certificate, HKU SPACE Chinese Medicine Foundation Certificate, and IELTS Certificate. Additionally, I have completed a Nursing Summer Course at HKU, expanding my professional knowledge.<br><br>In terms of work experience, I have interned at a Dementia Center, where I assisted in organizing health seminars and art therapy activities. Moreover, I have had primary school teaching experience through the Lion Club program, tutoring students with special educational needs (SEN) and non-Chinese speaking (NCS) backgrounds in homework support classes. I have also interned at a Community Center, where I assisted in event preparation, registration, and organizing activity documents.<br><br>That concludes my brief introduction about myself.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Motivated by a profound interest in STEAM education and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) region, I have decided to engage in the GBA HK School and STEAM education course. I am of the belief that this course will provide me with a rich opportunity to explore the complexities of STEAM education and further understand the educational landscape of the GBA.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>My aspirations from this programme include acquiring insights on the effective implementation of STEAM education in the GBA region. I am also eager to comprehend the roles and functions that schools in Hong Kong perform within the GBA's educational framework.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This experience, I anticipate, will contribute significantly to my personal and professional development. I aspire to enhance my pedagogical competencies and collaborative skills through this course.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Regarding the educational needs of the GBA and the relevance of STEAM education, I posit that the primary function of Hong Kong schools in the GBA is to deliver high-quality STEAM education. Such education is paramount in facilitating students in acquiring the requisite skills and knowledge for thriving in future societal and economic contexts.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>STEAM education, being comprehensive and encompassing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, plays a crucial role in addressing the diversified educational needs of the GBA.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Nonetheless, I anticipate certain challenges, such as adapting to a new educational environment with potential language and cultural differences. I also harbour concerns about participating in STEAM group projects, particularly in terms of effectively collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds. To mitigate these challenges, I plan to prepare in advance and actively engage with fellow participants.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lastly, a significant topic that has piqued my interest is the successful integration of STEAM education with traditional learning approaches.
